Wha (“Wha,” “we” or “us”) values your privacy. Wha offers a telemedicine platform and Services (the “Services”) under Time Research and Innovation (Tri). (Wha is a subproject of Time research & innovation). This Telehealth Privacy Policy applies to our website https://worldhealthaid.org/ (the “Site”), as well as the Services, which are accessible through the Site. Through our Services participating medical professionals and healthcare staff (“Healthcare Providers” or “Providers”) can provide health care services online to their clients and patients (“Patients”). In this Privacy Policy (“Policy”), we describe how we collect, use, and disclose information that we obtain about visitors to our Site and users of our Services.

By visiting the Site or using our Services, you agree that your personal information will be handled as described in this Policy. Your use of our Site and Services, and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Policy and our Terms and Conditions, including its applicable limitations on damages and the resolution of disputes. The Wha Terms of Service are incorporated by reference into this Policy.

In this policy, the words "you" and "your" mean any person or that person's authorized representative who agrees to our Terms and Conditions and who has requested from us any product and/or service offered by us. The words "we", "us" and "our" means Wha and its worldwide affiliates, which provide requested products or services. This Privacy Policy is applicable only to our website https://worldhealthaid.org/ under the supervision of Time Research & Innovation (Tri and our mobile applications "WHA" available on App Store for IOS Devices and on Play Store for Android Devices, and not to any other website/s or mobile application/s that you may be able to access from our website, each of which may have practices and policies that may differ materially from this Privacy Policy. Your use of our website and/or mobile applications, as well as our products and/or services, is governed by this Privacy Policy and to our Terms and Conditions.

  • records of your interactions, transactions, and/or dealings with us over the phone, on your mobile device, or through email or the Internet

Your medical history and/or medical information may be shared with our employees(Employees under Trii), Health Care Providers, Contractors, and Agents who need to know that information in order to enable them to provide effective services and/or products.

When speaking with one of our telephone service representatives, internet lives chat agents, and/or Video Conferencing with our Health Care Providers, or messaging with us through social media, we may monitor and/or record our discussions for our mutual protection, to enhance customer service and to confirm our discussions with you.

We will not be responsible for the information loss or privacy loss due to the incorrect information provided by you.

We make efforts in good faith to receive, transmit and store Personal Information in a secure environment but we cannot guarantee that there will be no unintended disclosures of your Personal Information

Ethical clearance:

This project (Wha, https://worldhealthaid.org/ ) will have human participants and their personal information records. For data sharing consents from the participants, this project will notify corresponding individuals and therefore, discuss its practical concerns. Additionally, it will need to seek ethical approval from the operating Countries (Countries where WHA is officially operating).  For this research, the project will follow the Time research & innovation ethical guideline and other national (Operating) government guidelines. During the project time If we need further ethical consideration to carry out any of the activities, the project will apply and take necessary actions as per the ethical guidelines. If any user of Wha is using its services outside of its operating country/countries, the rules and ethical regulations of that particular non-operating country will not be followed and WHA will not take any responsibilities of that user. As soon as WHA (under Tri) will start operating in that particular non-operating country we (Wha, Tri) will update/ follow the rules, regulations, and ethical guidelines of that country.

Furthermore, additional ethical applications and participants' consent forms will be designed and sent before each development and test to fulfill regulatory needs. It will follow the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and other international ethical guidelines. Consent will be taken from the patients and users before engaging with the project and before their registration.

In any circumstances, the service user of the project can withdraw their consent at any time:

At the participant's request, s/he will be free to withdraw from any service and the project study at any time.

As part of the project research data collection, the researcher will exercise mental judgment in physical or psychological distress.

The researcher will also act on the instruction of the independent medical officer (or any other independent monitor) or any supervising medical personnel.
